Sept 2010: Ian Cleasby (Univesity of Sheffield, UK) visited us and gave a special departmental seminar.

Sept 2010: SN visited Massey University via NRCGD (hosted by Prof Hugh Blair) and gave a talk on meta-analysis.

Sept 2010: The dunnock project (SN and Ed) received a grant of £5,000 from ASAB (http://asab.nottingham.ac.uk/grants/index.php).

Aug 2010: Ed started fieldwork (second season) - watching dunnocks living & breeding in the Dunedin's Botanical Gardens.

Aug 2010: Karin and Callum have finished mistnetting and collecting sparrow samples for this year (grand total of 888 samples!)

Aug 2010: SN was named the New Supervisor of the Year by Otago University Student Association!

Aug 2010: NRCGD annual symposium in Auckland (SN attended).
